One of the biggest obstacles I have experienced….
….to healthy cooking, eating and living is related to my busy schedule and not feeling as if there is enough time to cook and eat healthy. Knowing how important these activities are to my health and overall sense of well-being has led me to look for ways to save time and create shortcuts to help me reach my goals. In these posts you will find a collection of my tips and ideas that I have used at different times. My hope is that also help you save time and be your best healthy self.
Meal planning is an integral part of my life.
Without it, I admit I feel uncentered and unsure which will often lead to bad decisions especially when it comes to my meals. I set aside a bit of time each week to figure out what I want to cook and use it to create a shopping list. I can just hear many of you saying, “I already don’t have time and now you want me to make time to plan?” But since I believe that meal planning is essential to staying on track and following a healthy eating plan, I have also developed some tricks and tactics I use to make meal planning easier and I will share these with you in many of my prior posts collected here.
Identify short cuts and time saving kitchen tools
One of the best ways to save time is to consider investing in items that will help you plan and help you save time.
