Cook the onions, bell pepper, garlic, and jalapeno until tender.

Transfer to your slow cooker and add the beans, lentils, zucchini, and canned tomatoes.

Add the tomato paste and spices.

Add the water and stir to combine.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through and the lentils are tender.
