Combine the liquid ingredients, almond milk, pumpkin puree and sugar in a medium bowl and stir to combine.

Combine both flours, salt, baking powder and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl and stir with a whisk to combine.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir just until mixed.

Add the berries and use a wooden spoon to mix them in.

Transfer to a lined muffin pan and top with berries, seeds, or nuts. Bake in the oven.
