Toss together the chickpeas with blackening seasoning and olive oil.

Spread out the chickpeas on a lined baking pan.

Bake for twenty minutes or until heated with a slightly crisp outside.

Cook the onions, celery and bell pepper in the remaining olive until softened.

Cook the pasta until al dente and then drain.

Add the milks to the pan of veggies followed by the nutritional yeast and cajun seasoning. Cook over low until it boils. Add the cornstarch slurry and  cook for 3-5 minutes to thicken. Taste and add salt and pepper.

Add the pasta to the sauce and heat up.  Serve up the spicy pasta topped with the blackened chickpeas.
