Air fryer bananas are a healthy sweet treat that’s simple to make! All you need are four easy ingredients and about 15 minutes to make them! I promise once you try these delicious healthy fried bananas, you will be making this tasty treat all the time!
Peel each banana and cut ends off so they are flat. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
Place the bananas in the air fryer basket or air frying rack in a single layer, spacing them out so there is at least ¼-inch between the pieces. If you're working with a smaller air fryer you can place them on a tray to prep and then transfer them to the air fryer to cook in batches.
Brush the tops of the banana slices with coconut oil and then sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
Place them in the air fryer at 375° F or 180° C and cook for 6 minutes.
Serve immediately and sprinkle lightly with sea salt.

Cook in batches. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the bananas in batches. Only place as many bananas in the air fryer basket as will fit with at least ¼-inch of space between the pieces.
Avoid overripe bananas. It’s ok if they have a few brown spots on the peels but you want them mostly yellow or even a bit green. Overripe bananas will get too mushy when cooked; just yellow or even yellow-green bananas will sweeten up air fried.
Serve immediately, warm or at room temperature, and try to plan for no leftovers. This recipe makes 4 servings. If that is more than you intend to eat, just halve the recipe.
Salt to taste. Don’t skip the salt but don’t overdo it. A light sprinkle will make the flavors pop, but too much salt will make them taste salty.
Store: These are best enjoyed fresh, but you can keep the leftovers if you want and heat them up again in your air fryer or microwave.
