Air fryer quesadillas are an easy party food for the big game or a quick lunch or dinner. They're stuffed with refried beans, melted cheese, and lots of Tex-Mex flavors. This easy quesadilla recipe is ready in less than fifteen minutes or less!
Spread about 2 tablespoons of refried beans over each tortilla. Sprinkle the tomatoes, red onion, cilantro and jalapeno over one half of each tortilla. Top with with 1 tablespoon of cheese. Fold the bean side only of the tortilla over the other half.
Preheat air fryer to 375° F. When hot, place the quesadillas into the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches. Cook for 5 minutes, flipping over halfway through.
When ready, remove from the air fryer. Repeat cooking with remaining tortillas. To serve slice each quesadilla into 2-3 triangles and serve up with salsa and guacamole.
Notes
Feel free to change up the ingredients to make air fryer quesadillas just the way you like them.Watch out for overfilling your quesadillas.Use the timing as a guideline. Each and every air fryer cooks a bit differently so the first time you make them be sure to watch closely as you may need to cook for less or more time.Use cooking spray if your air fryer isn’t non-stick. I found it wasn’t necessary but if you are concerned about sticking, spray the basket before adding the quesadillas. Shred your own block cheese for the meltiest cheese in your quesadilla.
