An easy homemade bbq sauce with peaches, soy sauce, miso paste and just a tad bit of spice. A delicious peach bbq sauce that works well as a marinade for proteins including tofu and beans or as a topping for your favorite veggie burger.
Place peaches, sugar, green onion, garlic and ginger along with ¼ cup water in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat stirring occasionally. Cook until liquid begins to bubble and the peaches are soft, about 10 minutes.
Transfer to a blender and puree.
Add back to the pan and add five spice powder, paprika, cayenne, hoisin sauce, miso, soy sauce, rice vinegar and mirin. Cook on low until heated through.
