Combine ground chia seeds with ½ cup water and allow to sit for five minutes while you combine the remaining ingredients.

In a large mixing bowl combine flour, cacao, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and sugar. Add oil and chia seed mixture. Mix to combine.

Add oats, dried fruit and chocolate chips and mix together just until combined.
1 cup rolled oats, ½ cup dried cranberries, ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
Use a tablespoon to transfer cookies onto a sprayed or oiled baking sheet tray, leaving some space in between cookies. Lightly press down cookies making them more flat.
Bake in oven for 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool on the pan for five minutes and then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Nail the flavor: Use 72% chocolate chips and cacao powder for the best dark chocolate flavor and highest level of nutrition.
Perfect size: Use a measuring spoon to measure out the cookies to bake in the oven. This will help the cookies cook more evenly since they have the same size.
Chewy texture: Preheat the oven prior to baking cookies. A hot oven activates the baking powder and baking soda right at the start of the cooking process and helps give the cookies the proper texture.
Cookie shape: Press the cookies together and down a little to make them slightly flat on the tray. The cookie dough is slightly loose and this helps hold the cookies together as they cook.
