1

Add all the dry ingredients into the bowl of your food processor. If you are not using a food processor, then place them in a medium bowl. Add the cold butter to the bowl and pulse to cut the butter into the flour.

2

Transfer the butter-flour mixture to a medium mixing bowl and add the milk.

3

Use a wooden spoon or spatula to mix until well combined. The dough should be firm but slightly sticky.

4

Sprinkle flour on your baking mat or work surface making sure it’s well covered. Then transfer the dough from the bowl to the floured surface.

5

Sprinkle more flour over the top of the biscuit dough and use your fingers to flatten the dough into the shape of a rectangle using floured hands. If the dough seems too sticky, flip it over and sprinkle with more flour. Aim for dough about ½” thick.

6

Once it’s the right thickness, fold the dough in half.

7

Rotate 90 degrees.

8

Press out again. Repeat the folding and pressing one last time.

9

Use a floured glass or biscuit cutter to cut the dough pressing down firmly and without using a twisting motion.

10

Transfer the biscuits to the air fryer basket in a single layer close together but with space between on the tray. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

11

Place the basket in the air fryer and cook for 8 minutes at 325° F or 160° C. The biscuits should be lightly golden brown on the top and bottom and not doughy in the center. If not ready, cook in 2-minute intervals until they are ready.
