Place the black beans, onion, jalapeno, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, oregano, cilantro, and lime juice in a food processor and pulse to chop everything up.

Add the olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste. Then pulse again. Taste and adjust any seasonings as desired.

Transfer to a dish and garnish with pumpkin seeds and cilantro leaves.
