Start by combining the liquid ingredients, almond milk, pumpkin puree and sugar in a medium bowl and stir to combine.

Next add the dry ingredients, both flours, salt, baking powder and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl and stir with a whisk to combine.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir just until mixed.

Add the berries and use a wooden spoon to mix them in.

Line the muffin pan with paper liners. Spoon in the batter to the paper liners, evenly dispersing the mixture among all 12 openings. Place the tray of muffins into the preheated oven and cook for 20 minutes or until a fork or toothpick inserted comes out clean.
