16wonton wrappers
Olive oilin a spray bottle or brush on with pastry brush
Cut the wonton wrappers in half on a diagonal and then in half again. Lay them close together but not touching in the air fryer basket. Spray with cooking oil and sprinkle with salt.
Place into the air fryer and cook until lightly brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes.
Notes
Watch the wonton chips in the air fryer closely, especially the first time you make them. They cook quickly and every air fryer may cook slightly differently.Allow them to cool completely before storing them to prevent moisture from building up in the container.Add seasonings either before cooking or immediately after so they will stick better to the chips.Keep the wontons covered with a slightly damp cloth while cooking in batches so they don’t dry out.Cook the wontons in small batches so they crisp up better and brown more evenly.
