These air fryer bananas are the perfect quick and healthy treat! With just a handful of ingredients, they come out warm, caramelized, and naturally sweet—great on their own or topped with your favorite goodies like chocolate, whipped cream, or ice cream.
Peel each banana and cut ends off so they are flat. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
4 yellow bananas
Place the bananas in the air fryer basket or air frying rack in a single layer, spacing them out so there is at least ¼-inch between the pieces. If you're working with a smaller air fryer you can place them on a tray to prep and then transfer them to the air fryer to cook in batches.
Brush the tops of the banana slices with coconut oil and then sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
2 teaspoons coconut oil, ½ - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Place them in the air fryer at 375° F or 180° C and cook for 6 minutes.
Serve immediately and sprinkle lightly with sea salt.

Notes
Depending on your air fryer size, you may need to work in batches. Make sure the banana slices have at least ¼-inch of space between them for even cooking.
A light sprinkle of salt brings out the sweetness—just enough to make the flavors pop without overpowering.
These are best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or air fryer. Not freezer-friendly.
Try switching things up with a sprinkle of brown sugar, a dash of cayenne, a brush of vanilla, or even sweet ripe plantains for a fun twist.
