Notes
Add Some Heat: Blend in ½ to 1 jalapeño for a spicy kick. Leave the seeds in for extra heat or remove them for a milder sauce.
Make It Creamier: Stir in ½ cup of Greek yogurt or sour cream for a richer, tangier flavor.
Turn It Into a Dressing: Add water 1 tablespoon at a time until it reaches your desired consistency—perfect for salads or grain bowls.
Use Fresh Lime Juice: Freshly squeezed lime juice gives the best flavor. Bottled juice can taste off due to preservatives.
Pick a Ripe Avocado: Make sure your avocado is soft and ripe for the smoothest blend.
Store Properly: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface to help prevent browning.
