Notes
Recipe makes about 2 ½ cups or 10 ¼ cup servings.
For creamy dark chocolate hummus with more intense chocolate flavor use cacao powder or a dark chocolate cocoa powder.
For a creamier consistency, swap the water with coconut milk and add until it’s at the desired consistency.
Add more liquid if you like your hummus a bit thinner or plan on using it mostly as a dessert dip.
Use 100% fruit raspberry jam or spread to keep it made with no added sugars.
Be sure to soak your dates so they will blend up in the hummus.
Use a high-speed blender for the creamiest consistency. If you’re using a food processor you will need to process for longer to get it creamy enough.
Allow the dip to sit at room temperature to soften up a bit before serving so it's more dippable.
