1cupwild rice
1 ½cupsbroth or water
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Rinse wild rice in a colander until the water runs clear.
1 cup wild rice
Place wild rice in an instant pot and add vegetable broth or water.

Cook on high pressure for 25 minutes with the keep warm setting turned off, and then allow the pressure to release naturally.
Remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

Plan Your Portions: Remember that 1 cup of uncooked wild rice will give you about 3 cups of cooked wild rice.
Softer Rice: If you want the wild rice to have a softer texture, you can extend its cooking time by 5 minutes, or simply turn on the ‘keep warm’ setting while you’re doing the pressure release.
Cook Just Right: The ideal way to cook wild rice is such that it absorbs all the water, and is cooked through, but not mushy.
