Skip the line and save some money by making your own Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refresher at home! With its light, refreshing flavors this easy strawberry drink is a great way to stay cool this summer.
Combine the strawberries, acai pulp, water and sugar in a medium saucepan.
1 ½ cups strawberries, ¼ cup acai puree, ½ cup organic sugar, ½ cup water
Cook over medium heat for ten minutes or until the strawberries are very soft. Stir frequently and mash the strawberries with the back of a spoon or a masher.
Turn off the heat and allow the syrup to cool slightly. Strain the syrup using a fine mesh strainer to remove any fruit solids.
Make the Strawberry Acai Drink
Place the syrup, green tea, grape juice, and passion fruit juice in a shaker glass with some ice.
2 tablespoon strawberry acai syrup, ½ cup unsweetened green tea, 1 cup white grape juice or apple juice, 2 tablespoons passion fruit juice

Notes
The nutrition is based on one drink.
Frozen strawberries work too: If fresh berries aren’t in season, frozen ones are a great swap and just as flavorful.
Serve it chilled: This refresher tastes best cold or over plenty of ice—especially on hot days.
Store the syrup: Keep leftover syrup in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a week. It makes about 8 drinks.
Freeze for later: Extra syrup? Pour it into an ice cube tray and freeze for future refreshers.
Give it a shake: The syrup may settle in the fridge—just stir or shake it before using.
